A topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory for muscular pain relief

Purpose:
For temporary relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as backache, muscular pains, sprains and sports injuries, rheumatic and arthritic pains.
Ingredients:
Ibuprofen 5% w/w
Also contains Benzyl alcohol 1% w/w as a preservative
General:
Nurofen gel is gently rubbed into the skin for the temporary relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as backache, muscular pains, sprains and sports injuries, rheumatic and arthritic pains.
How to use Nurofen Gel:
When first opening the tube: Check that the seal is not broken. To break the seal press it against the point hidden in the top of the cap.
Adults and children over 12 years:
Squeeze 4-10 cm of gel onto the affected area then replace the cap (This represents a dose of 50-125mg of Ibuprofen) Gently rub the gel in until it is absorbed, then wash your hands.
Do not reapply more gel within 4 hours.
Do not apply it more than 3 to 4 times in 24 hours.
Do not use it on broken skin, on the lips, or near the eyes.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms worsen or if there is no improvement after two weeks use.
Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
Asthmatic patients in whom aspirin or other analgesics are know to precipitate asthma attacks should seek medical advise before using Nurofen gel.
Do not use on children under 12 years of age.
Discontinue use if a rash or irritation occurs. It is recommended that Nurfoen gel should not be used during pregnancy except under medical supervision.
Do not use during the last three months of pregnancy.
Always replace the cap after use.
Warning:
This preparation is for the relief of minor and temporary ailments and should be used strictly as directed. Prolonged use without medical supervision could be harmful.
