Purpose:
For the quick relief of constipation
Dosage:
Administer the contents of one tube rectally as a single dose
Ingredients:
Sodium citrate 450mg, sodium lauryl sulphoacetate 45mg, sorbitol 3.125g, base to 5ml
General:
Twist and pull the seal off the nozzle
Squeeze the tube slightly so that a drop of Micolax smears the tip and thus makes insertion easier
Insert the nozzle fully into the rectum. N.B. in children under 3 years of age, insert only half the length of nozzle (see indication on the nozzle)
Squeeze out the contents fully by squeezing the shoulder of the tub
Keeping the tube squeezed tightly, withdraw the nozzle
Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. If symptoms persist seek medical advice

Do not swallow
Store below 25°C
Do not remove tube from carton until immediately before use
