Purpose:
To provide calcium which is required by women to promote healthy bones
Ingredients:
Cholecalciferol, Calcium Citrate, Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide, Zinc Gluconate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Horsetqil (Equiseturn Arvense) extract.
No added starch,
wheat, salt, corn, yeast, gluten, artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives.
General:
Women have particularly high Calcium requirements throughout life with pregnancy,
breastfeeding, and Menopause, placing extra demqnds on Calcium stores. Insufficient
Calcium can lead to osteoporosis and consequently, brittle bones later in life. With up to
70% of women not receiving enough Calcium through their diet, calcium supplementation may
be of assistance in maintaining healthy bones. The NH & MRC recommends the following
daily intake of Calcium for women 54 years plus –1000mg pregnant women – 1100mg
and women breastfeeding – 1200 mg. Calcium for Women at its maximum dosage provides
1216mg of Calcium a day and combines Calcium compounds (including Vitamin D for
absorption), with other nutrients important for healthy bones, in a formulation for women
of all ages.
