Mucopolysaccharide polysulfuric acid ester 30mg
(Organo-Heparinoid Luitpold) corresp. to 25 000 I.U.
compar.: International Standard Heparin
Hirudoid Gel contains alcohol (isopropanol) and should therefore not be brought into contact with open wounds, the eyes or mucous membranes

Properties
The Organo-Heparinoid Luitpold (the active ingredient of Hirudoid Gel)penetrates quickly through the skin and exerts an even and lasting influence on theaffected tissue. Hirudoid Gel is anti-inflammatory, antiedematous and antithrombotic, and improves the local circulation. Tension and pain subside promptly, swellings andhaematomata recede, the feeling of heaviness in the legs disappears.
The appeasing coolness of Hirudoid Gel is very agreeable
Indications:
Varicose veins, Swellings, Phlebitis and venous stasis, Haematomata (swellings containing blood), Bruises, Confusions, Prophylactic treatment of veins
Warning:
For external use only
Hirudoid Gel contains alcohol (isopropanol) and should therefore not be brought intocontact with open wounds, the eyes or mucous membranes
Not to be used concurrently with Warfarin
Avoid applying to bleeding or infected areas
Avoid contact with the eyes
Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, apply Hirudoid Gel several times per day.
Hirudoid Gel is easy to apply, clean and skin-hugging, and very well tolerated.
